Neutrogena Hydro Boost Review

Hi, everybody! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. Mine has been super busy, trying to get all of the videos we shot last weekend edited! Today I’m going to be reviewing two products that I received from a product test campaign. Stay tuned for Fridays post on how I get my product tests so you can get them too! I received these two products from dieinsider.de, which is a great place to find tests for free! You’ll get all the information you need to get started on Fridays post. Let’s get started with the review!

Hydro Boost Gel

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel is a super-intense moisturizer that soaks into your skin like a gel but gives you the moisture effects of a cream. I’ve been using this gel for 2 weeks now, and even on days that I forget to put it on, my skin is just as hydrated as it would be with a fresh application. I honestly love this stuff! It leaves no greasy residue behind on my face, which is awesome for me because finding a moisturizer that I can use with my super oily skin is an awesome accomplishment. The gel is formulated with pure hyaluronic acid, which acts as a sponge for dry skin cells, carrying 1,000 times its weight in water to give you supple and smooth skin! The Gel costs 12,95€ and 18,99 USD.

Hydro Boost Cleansing Gel

I’m not going to lie here, I really didn’t like this product when I first tried it. But, that was completely my fault. I thought it was a makeup remover gel, not a cleansing gel. So for a few days, I put away my Micellar water and tried using the gel to remove makeup. I will say that it really did remove eye makeup really well, but face makeup wouldn’t budge. My husband is actually the one who realized it wasn’t a makeup remover when I complained that it wasn’t working! When you use it the way it’s supposed to be used, it’s a great cleansing gel that moisturizes your skin really well, and cleans your skin really well. It pairs perfectly with the Hydro Boost Gel if you want SUPER moisturized skin! My makeup applies so much better after using these products, in fact, I’ve already picked up backups for both of them! The formula is oil, soap, and paraben free. It is also hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, which means it won’t clog your pores. This product costs 4,95€ and 7,99 USD.

I really suggest if you have dry skin to pick these products up, they are AMAZING! I am very grateful to have been chosen to receive them. Thank you so much for reading, and see you Friday! XO’s!
