Tutorial: How To Receive Free Products

Hey Guys! I hope you all had a great week! Today, I’d like to give you all some tips on how to get free products to test out, which is, unfortunately, a lot harder in Germany than it is in the U.S. There are a ton of websites in the U.S that post when companies are giving out freebies, and some of them you don’t even have to review the products to get them for free. Here in Germany on the other hand, I have only found a few sites that update regularly with new product tests. Most of the products I receive to review actually come from PR companies that I am in contact with through YouTube, Instagram, and my blog. However, I do get some product tests and freebies from these websites and I thought I would share the info I have with you all, because who doesn’t love free stuff! This post is going to focus on Germany; if anyone would like me to make a post for the U.S or anywhere else, leave a comment and I will do that for you. Let’s get started!

This is one of the first websites that I have ever used to get coupons and product samples/tests. I actually found it after watching the U.S show extreme couponing! I was obsessed with that show for a while, and my husband and I really wanted to start using coupons to save as much as possible. So a little online research produced this awesome site!

This is the Sparwelt homepage, where you can navigate from coupons to deals and free samples. I usually browse the “Gratis Proben” section first.

Some of the things you’ll find on this page aren’t beauty products, but a lot of them are. Most of the time there will be a special page for beauty product tests that are currently running. You have to remember, a lot of products you’ll find here are samples, not product tests. The product tests will require you to apply to receive the product, while with a sample you just have to input your details and they will send it to you.

Here is an example of a product test and a free product/sample. The first post is for a product test for a Braun hair removal product, and the bottom post is for a free children’s comic book. As with all posts on Sparwelt, when you click on the post it will look like this:

This page will give you the details about what’s being offered, and a link to the website where you can apply for the test. The same happens with a normal product sample or free item, but it will redirect you to the company page and usually a contact form for you to fill out.

Next, you’ll click on “Zum Aktion” or the green button the side of the page. For a product test, you may see a page like this:

For me is a website that you can sign up for free and apply for many product tests. Once you register, you will see a list of all the available product tests, which you can then apply to.

From here you can navigate to all the tests and sign up for them for free. There is no guarantee that you will receive the product, but there is a good chance and you can’t lose anything when applying for free products.

Really quickly, I’ll show you how to get the free comic book:

You will see the same page as above, and click on the same green button.

You will then be redirected to the company or offer page, where you can get your free product. Please remember, if a page tells you that something is free, but you have to complete a survey or something along those lines, leave the page ASAP. Don’t fall for it! That is how scammers and telemarketers get your phone number and email address. Be careful!

Die Insider

This website is similar to For Me, where you can apply for different product tests and if you have a bit of luck, you’ll get free product. Here is the homepage:

As you can see here, I’ve logged in already. This website is free to sign up for, all you have to do is activate your account by clicking on the link in the email they send you. Under the current campaigns box on the side, you can see two active campaigns. The grayed out campaigns have already passed, and the full colored ones are active. Let’s click on the Neutrogena campaign:

Here is the campaign page, which I can’t show you much on because I’ve already applied and received my products. See my post from Wednesday if you want to check out my review on the Neutrogena products I received. Anyway, here, once you’ve logged in and activated your account, you can apply for the product test and they will let you know if you receive it or not through your email.

Once you receive the products, you have a timeframe of about 2 weeks before you have to post a review. You then link your review (it can be on Instagram, facebook, a blog post, whatever) on the campaign page and you can earn points towards more free stuff!

I really hope this post was helpful for you! I love to share cool info with my readers, plus I want everyone to be able to receive awesome free stuff! I’ll see you all next week, have a great weekend! Thanks for reading, XO’s!
