Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. We’ve got some news from Catrice to talk about today, so I won’t bore you with too long of an intro. I was starting to wonder when we would see another LE from Catrice after a few weeks of silence, but now I can see why it took a while. This collection is beautiful! Let’s take a look at the products.
Cushion Powder Lipstick
These are powder lipsticks that come in a tube with a cushion applicator. There are two shades available, Raspberry Belle and Berry Bow. They have a satin-matte finish and will cost 4,99€. Does anyone else think that’s a little on the pricey side for a powder lipstick?
I believe this is a translucent setting powder that is somehow scented, although I can’t tell you what the scent is. It also has a shimmery finish. It is available in one shade, Transparent Shimmer, and will cost 4,99€.
These are color changing polishes that shift from one color to another. There are 5 shades available, Provocative Pearls, Mauve Magnifique, Rose-ducteur, Berry Bow and Silk Sense. They will cost you 2,99€. There are some pretty shades here, however, 2,99 is a little much for a bottle of drugstore polish unless we’re talking about Essie or Sally Hansen.
The packaging is to die for on this blush, not to mention the color is absolutely gorgeous. There are two shades, Raspberry Belle and Berry Bow. Raspberry Belle has shimmer and Berry Bow is matte. These will cost you 3,99€.
Volume Lash Dust
This is a powder that you put on after your mascarato add volume to your lashes, then you add another coat of mascara. The powder is white, so you can’t really get away without a double coat of mascara. It comes with a small wand to ease application. I might try this out, but I hate the idea of putting fibers and similar items near my eyes after a bad experience with the YouNique fiber lash. The powder will cost you 3,99€.
The shades in here are nice, just not nice enough for me to purchase it. I don’t wear pink tones that often so I think for me it would just be a waste. Not to mention the price tag, which I can get 2 of the Catrice palettes with 9 shadows for. No thanks! There are 2 mattes and 2 shimmers contained in this collection. It will cost you 4,99€.
All in all this collection is really, really pretty, but I don’t think I’ll be buying any of it just because of the ridiculous prices that Catrice charges for their LE products. I’m also saving up for a birthday trip to Sephora, so that might be making me a tad bit biased. I hope you enjoyed reading, and I’ll see you all on Wednesday!
